The Lions of Illinois MD-1 invite you to the 104th State Convention and Lions of Illinois Foundation 51st Annual Membership Meeting

This year, the Lions of Illinois MD-1  welcome PIP Gudrun Yngvadottir as our honored guest and keynote speaker for the 104th Annual Convention! Please mark your calendar and attend this year’s convention.  The 2025 State Convention kicks off on Friday evening, May 2, 2025,  with Red Carpet Bingo presented by the St. Jacob Lions.  The Hospitality Rooms will open Friday evening for fun and camaraderie!  Saturday, May 3rd,  is filled with Plenary Sessions, the State Awards Luncheon, Workshops, and the State Banquet.  Voting, if any, will begin on Sunday morning, May 4th,  followed by the LIF Breakfast and  Meeting and the Closing Plenary Session.  Voting results, if any, will be announced as well as the selection of the MD1 2025-2026 Chairperson.  There will be exhibitors, pin traders, auctions, and so much more! Don’t miss out! 

Lodging Information

The Crowne Plaza Hotel is the site for the MD-1 State Convention.  Our  guest room rate is $127.00 per night (plus 14% tax) and includes overnight self-parking at the hotel. This year’s Convention features the State Luncheon at Noon on Saturday, May 3, 2025, along with the State Banquet on Saturday evening.   The LIF Breakfast will be held Sunday morning, May 4, 2025,  followed by the Closing Plenary Session.
